Chestnut Ridge Sewing
Locally made wooden sewing machine cabinets are one of the things that Chestnut Ridge Sewing is famous for. Sewing machine cabinets are made locally at Schrocks of Walnut Creek and other local builders. These custom cabinets all include a three position air lift (with storage, flat bed and free arm use positions), locking castors, and custom inserts are available for any make and model of sewing machine.
Regular Sewing Cabinet
This is a regular sewing machine cabinet. It features raised panel doors and drawer fronts. Hardware can be custom ordered. The sewing machine only model has four drawers and two lids that open both directions to provide the most sewing surface possible. The dimensions for this cabinet are: Closed 38" wide by 20" deep and 30 1/2" high. Open the cabinet is 76" long and 20" wide.The cabinet shown is in oak, but cherry and birch or other woods are available by special order. Stain samples are also available in the store. Duo Cabinets
Duo cabinets are made to accommodate a serger along with your sewing machine. A slide out tray provides convenient access to the stored serger. The bottom drawer provides extra storage for serger thread or machine accessories. One lid opens to the left and the other to the front. The door to the right supports the lid which holds the serger. There is also a Three Drawer Caddy available that provides lots of extra storage. Dimensions of the Duo cabinet are 41" wide by 20" deep and 30 1/2" high. Open, the cabinet measures 66" wide and 40" deep.
Embroidery Cabinets
Embroidery Cabinets are specially designed for sewing and embroidery combination machines. The top shelf holds your embroidery module and the drawers hold your supplies. This cabinet can also be used with the Three Drawer Caddy. The dimensions of this cabinet are 49" wide by 22" deep and 30 1/2" high. Open, the cabinet is 78" wide and 43" deep. Solid Oak Cutting Table
This Solid Oak Cutting Table is locally made and is a plus for any sewing room! It features 4 drawers in one cabinet end and shelves on the other. The top folds in for storage and the locking casters make it easy to move. It measures 21" x 40" x 34-3/4" high. With the top open, it has a 72" x 40" cuting area.
Solid Oak Embroidery/Thread Caddy
This 4 drawer Solid Oak Embroidery/Thread Caddy is perfect for holding all your thread and supplies. It has 3 thread drawers with removable inserts for holding up to 189 spools and one file drawer. These are a stock item. It measures 16 1/4" x 24" x 35-3/4" high.

We also carry Roberts sewing, quilting, and embroidery tables. This one has the optional drawer caddy.

BERNINA Machine Cabinet by Horn
This BERNINA cabinet from Horn fits any current BERNINA machine. The lift is beefed up and the opening is larger to accomodate the 830. It measures 60" wide, 19-1/2" deep (55" deep with drawer platform in place), and 29-3/4" high. The caddie shown fits under the cabinet drawer and measures 26" wide, 17-3/4" deep, and 24-1/4" high. Both have easy-roll casters for ease in movement.
