Elisa kicks off her garment classes this month with her Pant Fitting & Factory Techniques class, March 13th. Learn how to take your own measurements, conquer front and back zippers, pressing and hemming. Elisa will also help you with fitting and alteration, during her Bodice Fitting Class. This class will involve one-on-one instruction regarding an easy method to approach fitting yourself that will bring back the joy to sewing.

With Susan Pfaff’s Sewing Savvy Block of the Month, you can master your sewing machine’s features and functions! In her block-of-the-month series, you will create a fun nine-block crazy patch wall quilt, while gaining skills that you will use in all of your sewing projects. During the March class you will be creating and sewing mini piping, creating tassels, sewing on buttons and sewing with heavy thread. All machines are welcome, from basic to top-of-the line!

Calling all Kimberbell lovers - Join Carol for the Kimberbell Clear Blue Tiles Class. Kimberbell Clear Blue Tiles are a complete system for quilting using your home embroidery machine. The stitching goes through all three layers of a quilt sandwich (back fabric, batting, and top fabric), with traditional, continuous quilting on both sides of your project. Plus, you can quilt borders and cornerstones using the tiles. In this class, you will bring a small pieced project of your choosing, (table topper, placemats, a small wall hanging, or baby quilt) and Carol will walk you through the steps to achieve the look of custom quilting on your project.

Looking for a darling Spring Theme Project? Joanne is offering Early Riser Quilt Class. In this class you will learn how to easily and accurately cut and sew curves using the Mini Quick Curve Ruler. You’ll learn the basics of the ruler as well as how to manipulate the pieces so you can create the tulips exactly as they appear in the book or how to put your own little twist to them.

We finish off the month with Joanne who is facilitating the Self-Guided Sew Day, on March 29th. Join your friends for a day of sewing and fellowship. This is a self-guided sew day to give you space to work on your own projects at your own pace. Whether you bring an old project to work on or start a new one, this is a great time to have fun, be productive, and meet new friends in the process.
