Carol has been busy with new Bag Classes. The newest bag will be “Travel Duffle Bag II”. Join Carol for this awesome travel bag. We are ALL hoping to get out and do some traveling this year, and this new By Annie bag would be a great travel companion. Carol is also offering a Kimberbell Club “Popsicle Me.” You will fall in love with this Kimberbell “Quilt by Number Technique!” Then, you can join Carol in July for the Summer Pop Table Runner (matching table runner to the Popsicle Me project) Remember, Kimberbell Club provides a great opportunity to try out a BERNINA! Machines are always included in the club fee. We will also be offering a Virtual OESD Embroidery Event. June 17th, you can tune in for the OESD “I Can Embroider on That?” presentation. This is a very inspirational lecture/demo event. You are also offered all OESD products at a 25% discount. You will be amazed when you see all the options! Betty continues with her BERNINA Community Studio Software classes. This program is packed with information on all the exciting features of the BERNINA Version 8 Software. This month you will compare and contrast the two application tools in the software. What a great skill for quilters and embroidery enthusiasts. June also has us packing our bags for upcoming shows and events. Our first venture will be over to Mt. Hope for “Horse Progress Days” Look for us in the Homemakers Building. Next we will head out to Akron for the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo. This year's event will be held on July 15th, 16th and 17th. We would love to see you there. Our BERNINA/Chestnut Ridge Sewing booth will include machines, sergers and the entire Q Series (Longarm) . We might have a few surprises, so you won't want to miss. We are also providing machines for the BERNINA Classroom. After class, these awesome BERNINA 770 machines will be offered at a great price. Another big day to mark in your date book is when we will be celebrating our 36th Anniversary. Join us July 30th and 31st for this amazing event. We are honored and excited to have Tammy Silvers join us for our Anniversary Event, and she will also be teaching August 4th for a day of “Sea Salt” This is a surprisingly easy one-block quilt. The crystalline effects of salt are captured on the asymmetrically set blocks, with salt crystals spilling out into the borders. Strip piecing makes this quick, and the mitered borders add to the overall effect. Class is designed for a confident beginner. Tammy is the designer and will also be offering hand picked kit options from her own fabric line.
