We will be open on Monday, January 3rd, then closing on January 4th to January 6th, for inventory and celebration of Old Christmas.   We're open January 7th with our Clearance Sale .  Come stock up and save 20% Storewide, normal exclusions apply.  Visit the fabric department and save 25% off all fabrics (1 yard cut minimum)  This sale includes precuts and fabric kits. You will want to get in and take advantage of the savings on fabric. 

The fabric clearance will be extended to January 31st.  After January 31st, fabric will be adjusting to the new 2022 pricing.  We have maintained the price of our quilting cottons for 5 years. Sadly, we are just not able to keep selling at those reduced prices.  However, there are some great changes in the fabric department.  We have a wonderful new employee Kathi Hamiliton. Kathi has been a great addition to the CRS Family.  She will be organizing fabric and working with the fabric kitting for upcoming sales and events.  Her first project has been the Friends of Chestnut Ridge Sew Along with Joanne Hubbard  If you have not joined the Friends Group, this is the perfect time!  Start 2022 with us!   Join Joanne and all the Friends as we work through a 5 week Sew Along using  Moda Fabric and a Sherri McConnell Pattern,  “Together.” You can purchase a kit from us (not included in the 25% off offer) or use your own fabric. May 5th to May 7th, we welcome Krista Moser back to CRS.  Join Krista for a 3 day retreat that is sure to be amazing .  We are finalizing patterns and kits, so watch for more details.  

We are also very excited for the first Runway At the Ridge.  This is a new event designed for our creative sewist.  Categories include; Apparel, Embroidery, Quilting, Machine Quilting, and Bag/Accessories.  Click the link and read more about this red carpet event.  Register as a contestant or purchase a ticket to be part of the live participating audience.  Registration is now open.  

January 17th, join us for our first Sit N Sew of 2022.  Dust off those unfinished projects and spend the day with us.  January 18th, Susan Pfaff will begin her “Sewing Savvy Block of the Month”.  You will love making this nine block crazy patch wall quilt while gaining skills that you will use in all of your future sewing projects.  January 27th, we welcome Karen Stewart as the new instructor for Introduction to Designer Plus Software 8.2. She returns January 28th, for the newest BERNINA V9.0 Software.  You can join us for morning or afternoon sessions.  

Looking ahead to February, Carol will be offering Embroidery Club, February 16th.  Join her for two darling Kimberbell Winter Projects.  This will help brighten your winter blues!  This is a great opportunity for anyone with a new embroidery machine.  Learn Applique in the Hoop with a Snowman Mug Rug and Hello Winter Bench Buddy.
