Sadly, we also say “Good-bye” to our awesome District Manager Dennis Baranyi. Dennis will be retiring after 35 years with Bernina of America. We have had a lot of fun and great memories with Dennis and he will be missed. He has been more than just a District Manager; he has been a great friend and mentor. Mike, the girls and I will miss him greatly! We wish him all the best.

We will start off 2021 with some additional remodeling and cleaning. Please note - we are closed January 1st to the 6th. We will re-open sparkling clean on January 7th. Plans are underway for our newest addition to the store and we are excited as we make drawings of our new space. January 7th will also start our Clearance Sale. Sale begins on January 7th and ends January 17th. Come enjoy 20% off store wide (some exclusions apply) and 25 % off all in stock fabric. We also have an incredible stock of Previously Loved Machines. A lot of these came to us in 2020 and they are ready for a new home. Lot’s of great deals, sew come check them out.
Our Bernina Longarm Department has been very busy, with lots of new machine owners. We are also excited to announce some new programs. Would you like to rent time on one of our Q Series Longarm machines, Q24 on Frame or Q 20 Sit-Down? Ellen will be offering training so you can do this. After you receive your diploma you are ready to schedule your quilting time. If you are not interested in quilting your own quilts, Ellen will be happy to quilt your quilts with Edge to Edge Designs of your choice. Contact Ellen at *330-893-3359 x 104. We are offering another Virtual OESD Class. Join the team of Oklahoma Embroidery for a class on Machine Embroidery Free Standing Lace. January 20th, 2021 starting at 10:00. January 18th we will have our first Sit N Sew of the year. While these are self-guided sew days, Joanne will be available to help with quilting and Betty will be there to help with embroidery. There is always lots of sewing, laughter, and fellowship, so come join the fun.
Kim Diehl is back with her 10th anniversary edition of the Simple Whatnots Club. Join the Club and make a miniature quilt each month using Kim Diehl’s Gratitude & Grace fabric collection. Members-only tutorials will be available on a private YouTube channel. The quilts vary in size, so the required yardage varies. To keep things simple, we’re going to charge a flat rate of $34.99 per month, plus shipping and backing (if applicable) for eight months. Don’t want to wait for each month’s quilt, purchase all eight kits at one time and receive a savings of $20.00. The program runs from February, 2021 through September, 2021. This is an eight month commitment. Kits will be available for pick up at the store or mailed to you around the 20th of each month, at which time your credit cards will be charged. Call to reserve your spot soon, as Club Membership is limited.
We have great news about a new program starting this Spring. In April, 2020 we will begin various Bernina Community Studio Programs. Classes will cover a variety of topics, including Sewing, Software, Quilting, Overlockers and Embroidery. Classes will include a 15-30 minute video lesson from a Bernina Educator, project handouts and in-store education. We hope you will join us for some of these great programs. Our first class will be held April 8th, Software - Color PhotoStitch followed by a second class April 22nd - Embroidery, Sassy- Stitches In the Hoop Zipper Pouch.
Do you have a BSR - Bernina Stitch Regulator and not sure how to get started? The Bernina Stitch Regulator is one of the best additional tools for quilters. In this machine guide class you will learn about the 3 sole plates, the 2 BSR modes, when to use them, and how to use the foot control and the start stop button. Class size is limited.
