Meet Dawn! Dawn has been the owner at Chestnut Ridge since 2015. Worked as employee 9 years prior to owning.

Mike Miller / Manager & Technician
Meet Mike! Mike is the Manager and Service Technician at CRS. He has been an integral part of the CRS team and operation since July 1994.
“I like the challenge of working on sewing machines and ensuring I am giving the customer exactly what they need.”
Mike can be found most days in the service department, but is always happy to see the customers entering the doors at Chestnut Ridge.

Rhoda Beachy / Instructor
Meet Rhoda! Rhoda teaches classes at CRS and also works in Customer Service. She returned to work in 2016 after a several year absence from CRS.
“I enjoy working with sergers and any products related to them. The new air threaders are incredible! I also appreciate the rest of the staff here.”
As a classroom teacher, Rhoda shared, “It's rewarding when customers bring in a project they made with a technique that we taught them.”

Kari Hershberger / Classes & Events Manager
Meet Kari Hershberger! Kari has worked at Chestnut Ridge Sewing since June 2018. She is the Class and Event Manager and enjoys that she can have fun with the customers as they visit the shop for classes and the many events throughout the year!
“We are one big family here at the Ridge! We have lots of fun and get to work together as a team to bring you the best quality service we possibly can!”
Kari enjoys being outdoors, working with her animals, and reading.

Joanne Hubbard / Instructor
Meet Joanne! She has been an Instructor at Chestnut Ridge since 2017.

Ellen Keets / Long Arm Specialist
Meet Ellen! She is the Long Arm Specialist at Chestnut Ridge.
Customers come to Ellen for any questions they have about Bernina’s Long Arm Machines and she is able to give excellent tutorials and insight to beginning and advanced quilters.
Ellen enjoys the camaraderie with her coworkers and interacting with the customers as they share their enthusiasm and creativity when they visit the shop.

Sue McCullagh / Customer Service & Instructor
Since 2008, Sue has worked in Customer Service and been a steady presence in the classroom as an instructor.

Elisa joined the Chestnut Ridge team in 2021 with the position of teacher and serger product specialist.

Breanne Miller / Customer Service
Meet Breanne! Breanne can be found working Customer Service and Sales at the shop and has happily been helping customers since July 2016.
“Working here has taught me that you don't put limits and boundaries on what you can learn and practice makes perfect. I want to do my best to help people with what they need and take time for everyone who walks through our doors.”

Emily Miller / Technician
Meet Emily! She has worked at CRS since October 2017, and recently started working as a Technician in the Service Department in May 2021. As you know, the machine repair at CRS is state of the art...Emily is a big part of that!

Amanda joined our team in August 2021. “Chestnut Ridge is a very friendly workplace and I look forward to coming back each morning.

Kate started her time at the Ridge in November of 2021. She is the Inventory Executive at CRS and keeps our eBay storefront going for our online customers.

Miriam Wengerd
Meet Miriam! Miriam joined the Chestnut Ridge family in May 2021.
“I love the environment my co workers create here. Everyone is very welcoming and I feel like a part of their family!” Miriam works in Customer Service and also does our new machine setup.
She loves serving and meeting new people at CRS, and is learning something new every day. When Miriam isn’t at CRS, she enjoys riding, and reading books.
