Dawn Krier
Owner
Dawn has been the owner of Chestnut Ridge Sewing since 2015. However, she joined the CRS team nine years prior.
“I love my Chestnut Ridge family and enjoy seeing the customers' creativity each day.”
Dawn can be seen behind the registers, in our multiple classrooms, demoing machines, and a variety of other things each day.

Mike Miller
Head Technician
Mike is the manager and head service technician at CRS. He has been an integral part of the team since July 1994.
“I like the challenge of working on sewing machines and ensuring I am giving the customer exactly what they need.”
Mike is usually found in the service department, but he’s always happy to greet customers when they walk through our doors.

Emily Willis
Marketing Director
Emily started working at Chestnut Ridge in June 2024. In addition to marketing, she does event and class coordination.

Emily spends most of her time in her office or the store's classrooms.

Breanne Miller

Since July 2016, Breanne has been happily working in customer service and sales.
“Working here has taught me that you don't put limits and boundaries on what you can learn and practice makes perfect. I want to do my best to help people with what they need and take time for everyone who walks through our doors.”
Breanne expressed her gratitude for Dawn and the blessing of amazing coworkers. “I do not want to take for granted what God has done for me and is still doing.”

Amanda joined our customer service team in August 2021. “Chestnut Ridge is a very friendly workplace, and I look forward to coming back each morning.''
You will often see Amanda’s smiling face working at the registers, helping customers, and demoing machines.

Since 2008, Sue has worked in customer service but has also been a steady presence in the classroom as an instructor.

Rhoda Beachy
Instructor
Rhoda teaches classes and works in customer service. She returned to CRS in 2016 after a several year absence.
“I enjoy working with sergers and any products related to them. The new air threaders are incredible. I also appreciate the rest of the staff here.”
Rhoda enjoys seeing students utilizing their new skills.

Ethan has worked as a technician in the service department since May 2019.

Ethan is an integral part of the team that ensures your machines are up to par for all your projects.
He enjoys the atmosphere and work he does at CRS. His co-workers are a big part of that.
