Log Cabin Hexagon Table Runner and Placemats
Get the best of both worlds when you combine fussy cut hexagons with log cabin piecing! You’ll learn how to fussy cut the hexagon centers, sew rings around the hexagons using a log cabin style technique, and how to construct the table runner with no in-set seams. Heavy template plastic makes cutting the hexagon centers a breeze, and a 60° ruler is helpful, but heavy template plastic can be substituted to cut the setting triangles of the table runner.
